About the Technique: Repouss? is a metalworking technique in which a design is created by hammering and shaping the metal from the reverse (back) side, causing the pattern to rise in relief on the front. It is often combined with chasing, where details are refined from the front, to achieve intricate and dimensional designs on metal surfaces.
Organic casting is the process of casting organic material (like leaves, fruits, flowers, shells, twigs etc) in brass. Through this process we are able to replicate the patterns and textures in nature.
