Here the dog is made of brass using the Dhokra casting method, the human is made of stone and brass using the Rock Dhokra process, and the bench is made of iron.

About the Technique: Dhokra is an ancient form of metal art, also known as lost wax casting. The sculpture is made in wax first, a mould is made around it, and during casting the wax is replaced by brass, thus the name ‘lost wax casting’.
