This cactus painting is inspired by the metal piece used in it. It is handcrafted and cast in brass using the lost wax technique of metal casting. It happens sometimes that the casting of a piece is unsuccessful, and only part of it survives. While that one piece fails, it inspires us to create something new with it. This is one such piece, where the metal piece was part of a failed casting, but found new meaning in this painting!

About the Technique: The metal mural range is made using the molten brass poured on the ground to form abstract shapes. It is often a combination of these abstract shapes with some hand crafted or organic ones as an integral part of a painting on canvas. The painting is made using acrylic colours on canvas.
