Jewellery Art is a great way to showcase all the unique metal casting processes we have developed at Devrai. This pendant features 2 such process – Rock Dhokra and Fusion Dhokra. The top is made from a red triangular ceramic piece, and the bottom has two rock dhokra pebbles. After the pendant was made, the threads were added and decorated with semi-precious stone and beads to complete the piece. The length of the threads is adjustable.

About the Technique: Fusion Dhokra is the process of fusing brass with a wide range of materials like terracotta, ceramic, iron, copper, solidified molten earth etc. using the lost wax technique of metal casting. Our path breaking innovation of Rock Dhokra (patented process of fusing stone with brass) set us on a trail of new fusion adventures with other mediums, resulting in this beautiful art form.
