This painting is one of the frame captured from our forest garden. We have over 50 varieties of lotuses growing here, and the ones in this painting are the Lakshmi lotuses, which is an indigenous variety. Chronologically, it blooms immediately after the white Saraswati lotus, and all other varieties bloom after these. There is a also a small Rock Dhokra bee, coming to drink the nector from the flower. Rock Dhokra is our patented process of fusing stone and metal through the lost wax casting technique.
