Even the smallest pendant made at Devrai goes through a long journey, and is worked upon at different stages by various members of our team. This is a piece from our terracotta and brass collection, in which the two materials are seamlessly fused in a unified whole. After the pendant is made, the threads are added, decorated with a mix of beads or semi-precious stones to complete the piece. The length of the threads is adjustable.

About the Technique: Fusion Dhokra is the process of fusing brass with a wide range of materials like terracotta, ceramic, iron, copper, solidified molten earth etc. using the lost wax technique of metal casting.
